7-Point Plan To Make Money Your Friend: #7
7) USE PRAYER AND VISUALIZATION DAILY
What is prayer? It is communion with God.
Do you need to do anything special to communicate with God?
No. You are communicating with God 24/7. God is closer to you than your own fingernails. God hears every thought and responds accordingly. You can’t press pause. You can’t press stop. God hears it all and is responding 24/7 whether you know it or not.
That’s why it’s so important to hold positive thoughts, and to make your thoughts an ongoing conversation with God about the good things you want for yourself and for the world.
So whether you use one prayer, a book of prayers, or simply speak from the heart to God, choose your words and your prayers carefully. Make sure they affirm the change you want. Make sure they fill you with belief and joy that you are loved and that God is bringing you good things.
THE MOST EFFECTIVE PRAYER
When is prayer most effective?
When we feel a sense of gratitude, awe and joy sweep through us. When we feel God brush us with His love and realize the amazing grace that it is.
The most effective prayer fills your mind with gratitude, fills your heart with love, and fills your soul with joy. This means that prayer isn’t just limited to words.
When religious poets write of “making your life into a prayer” they are serious. They mean that the goal of life is to get to that place where your thoughts, words, visualizations, and actions all reflect God’s love and joy back to Him. For instance, Gandhi’s famous quote “Be the change you want” means just that.
(And this is why I am passionate about promoting The Secret as an Amazon.com affiliate. Millions of words have been written about God, and how to obtain God’s blessing, yet nothing provides a better, clearer or more compelling explanation of why we should align with God’s love and goodness than this video. Even better, it helps shift the viewer into an attitude of gratitude and receptivity while showing that doing so is easy. God-inspired, it’s brilliant!)
THIS IS A FEELING UNIVERSE
This is a feeling universe. Feelings are God’s primary language. God feels and responds to us based upon our feelings. Whatever you feel, he will send more of.
So be sure to strengthen your requests for money by evoking the most positive feelings possible. To help you do that, use that most potent mode of prayer, visualization. Then, throughout your day, speak abundance, think abundance, visualize abundance, and believe in abundance.
Do this day after day without fail and whatever you need to support you will come to you, whether it’s a new job, a raise, or some other positive change in circumstance.
7-POINT PLAN RECAPPED
Here’s the plan recapped:
1) Give money a voice and explore your relationship with it through journaling; learn what’s holding you back, and what you really want, 2) heal fears and negative “what if’s” about having money, 3) forgive the rich for being rich, 4) learn to mentally support, appreciate and trust your self so that you see yourself as deserving, 5) learn to enjoy and appreciate money, 6) prime the pump by giving, 7) pray for and visualize what you want every day.
God adores you. Do whatever you can to visualize and feel this as true, and it will speed your journey into abundance.
As Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you…What man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? …how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matthew 7:7-11
Ask for what you want, believe it’s coming, feel the feelings you will have when it arrives, and God must deliver it to you. This is what I have experienced without fail, and so will you.

How many times I do not do what I want to do, but do what I don’t want to do. I don’t understand why I shoot myself in the foot. I mean, I know what I want to do, what I tell myself I want to do and what I am going to do. Yet it’s so hard to stick to my goals, or even follow a step-by-step plan like this. Maybe you could write something about that? Why this happens? And what to do about it? I do not want to struggle all my life with money problems.
