Spiritual Approach To BP Oil Spill – Part 3

Here’s a radical idea for transforming the BP oil spill and the effects of the BP oil spill. You may see it as crazy, but try it.

Envision all that oil spewing out as love.

Yes, I know it’s a chemical soup that’s toxic,  burns, and kills everything it touches. But that oil is God. Yes, I know it may sound counter to the usual response of blaming, raging and lamenting that is typical in a situation like this, but everything is God.

Everything is God. And that means the oil spill is part of  God, and God can transmute it and create something good from it.

So affirm it is love. See it as love. Stop seeing it as something horrific. Surround it in light, give it beautiful colors, play with it in your mind. Make it beautiful. Fill it with Light.

Just try it. You don’t have to tell anyone. No one need know. It’s between you and God.

What you are telling God with this visualization is that you want Him to transform that oil, and this situation, into something beautiful.

You cannot say it will not happen.

Two or five or ten or twenty years from now the repercussions from this spill may have transformed how we “do” energy.

The Gulf could be a paradise without oil wells. Energy corporations and environmentalists may be on the best terms, aligned in the highest way for the highest good, no longer enemies, no longer at odds. We may all be more engaged and empowered.

This is what we all want, isn’t it?

So make it your intention to help God create something beautiful out of this. It may turn out to be friendships, the healing of wounds, a new energy policy, forgiveness, unity, a renewed and beautiful Gulf coast.

The power is yours.

I pray you will open yourself to the possibility that you can help God create something beautiful out of all this, and that you spend time every day visioning and praying it in.

God bless you.

I love the idea! It’s not crazy. I know just thinking of it this way has made me feel better. When I feel better, I can see more clearly and find more ways to reduce my dependence on oil and unsustainable energy sources.
