Affirmative prayer has worked miracles in my life and it has been my intention to provide more of an “inside” look at my spiritual practice and how I use prayer.

So I thought I might do more of a video blog in which I spontaneously talk about daily challenges and how I am using affirmative prayer, meditation and other spiritual tools to transform and overcome them.

Well, with that choice, challenges have arrived right and left!

And that is just how things work when we have buried fears about not being good enough. Obviously I am still questioning what right I have to share anything, because technical difficulties are getting in the way.

So here’s a lesson about spiritual growth and development, and about expanding into being your best self – the self willing to share your big God-given gifts.

We are called by God to increase the love in our hearts. Yet, an injured heart has trouble being an open heart. So how do we heal long-standing emotional hurts or abuse that has made it feel impossible to forgive or love unconditionally?

Here’s a radical idea for transforming the BP oil spill and the effects of the BP oil spill. You may see it as crazy, but try it.

Envision all that oil spewing out as love.

Yes, I know it’s a chemical soup that’s toxic, burns, and kills everything it touches. But that oil is God. Yes, I know it may sound counter to the usual response of blaming, raging and lamenting that is typical in a situation like this, but everything is God.
