Bless our soldiers. They are trying so hard to do the right thing.

They are told by our President that they are liberators.

Yet, they see their brave and good compatriots picked off in ambushes.

They have found themselves unable to protect the innocent.

Instead of seeing the welcome and appreciation they expected, attacks upon them and the Red Cross have increased and the brave killed.

Their frustration, pain and sorrow can only be imagined.

Hosanna! Please help them.

These soldiers are good men and women, Lord. You know that.

They are in an impossible situation where a war has been "won,"
yet still goes on all around them.

They long to do Your work; they long to be bearers of Your love and freedom, even as they carry guns and face hate.

O Lord! Be with each soldier. Give him Your hand.

Lift him out of frustration and sorrow and give him new purpose.

Give him a profound experience of You.

Insist he listen to You, and keep him safe.

Lord, there is one power in this Universe, Lord, and it is You.

By Your grace, You enter the mind of each soldier and guide him.

For You are stronger than any fear or any enemy or any limitation.

And it is not Your will that they—or the people they serve—suffer.

If they or my countrymen or I need some sort of "message" or life changing event, I affirm You give it to us through positive revelation; not through the loss of our men or the breaking of our hearts.

Please, Lord, let all negative energy end here.

Teach us to think thoughts that create peace and harmony in the world.

Magnificent and Omnipotent Protector, bend us to Your will.

Align our minds with You.

For our soldiers are innocent.

They are intelligent, spiritual beings.

By Your Grace, You remove everything that contributes to this unrest.

If I am contributing to the hostilities in Iraq, change me.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I give myself to You.

You focus my mind on healing.

I clearly see Iraq growing stable and all unrest dissolving.

I see all U.S. soldiers safe and protected.

By Your Grace, the situation resolves and they come home.

By Your grace, the news reads:

IRAQ STABLE; TROOPS COMING HOME

Lives are restored and people have renewed faith in You.

We become the world we want to see.

Thank You, Merciful Father, for this miracle.

And so it is.
