Prayer for Right Work

Dear God,

Thank You for my life. It is Your gift to me.

What I make of it is my gift to You.

For You rejoice in my happiness and fulfillment.

You know my talents.

You gave them to me, to use abundantly, in great joy and contentment.

You would have me, through my work, be a Light Unto The World.

Lord, give these words power now, for I affirm what I most want.

I have work—Dear God—work that makes my heart sing.

I affirm that my work excites me and gives my life meaning.

I earn more money by doing what I love than I ever earned doing anything else.

I am more myself, and more authentic, than ever before

And I am needed.

Thank You, Lord.

Thank You for that place—that work—that needs me now.

It calls to me and I hear it clearly.

It is that place where my great need and the world's great hunger meet,

Where one is fulfilled by the other,

And all are perfectly served.

I give thanks for this place

In which I rise in energy, savor each day and give all I can give

Doing every small thing with love, for my work is my prayer to You.

I prosper in love and harmony as I offer the talents I have, courageously and freely.

I love my work now.

I love my life now.

And I shall love all work to which You lead me.

Bless the world through my work, Dear One.

Make me a gift to the world through it.

Thank You, Magnificent Worker, Creator of Heaven and Earth.

Thank You for my work.

And so it is. Amen.
